Oversee student workers and assist graduate students with research projects-Assist hay production operations-Operations of Center Pivot Irrigation System, including repairs.-Develop, implement and monitor budgets and operating plans to support mission of the facility and department in coordination with Livestock Operations manager and Mc. Gregor manager.-Construction and maintenance of fences; maintain equipment, buildings, and other structures at TAMU Beef Cattle Systems-Manage and coordinate an intensive research feeding program that incorporates a 'Growsafe System' and receiving pens.-Plant and maintain pastures, and maintain weed control program on pasture and fence rows-Manage 200 head cow/calf operation and 150 head stocker operation according to protocols and ensuring regulatory compliance-Perform other job-related duties as required.
