Service Technician Description
What You'll Do as a Service Technician
As a Service Technician at WCTractor, you'll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a wide range of agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and small engines - from compact tractors and lawn equipment to skid steers and larger diesel-powered units.
Responsibilities include:
* Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs both in the shop and in the field
* Assemble, inspect, and test new equipment during setup
* Document all work performed with accuracy and attention to detail
* Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of work orders
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and uphold shop safety standards
* Stay current with industry knowledge and participate in training opportunities
* Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
Service Technician Qualifications
What You Bring to the Role
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1+ year of related experience (ag, construction, small engine, or auto preferred)
* Your own basic tool set
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs. multiple times per day
* A mechanical mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to keep learning
