$7,000.00 - $7,500.00 per month commensurate with experience.
The Senior IT Professional II, as a member of the IT Operations & Support department, under general direction, provides technical leadership for administering multiple complex SaaS applications and other services and ensuring compliance with the unit's technical standards on behalf of the Texas A&M University System.
Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight years of related technology experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management and Infrastructure Library (ITSM/ITIL) concepts and practices. Knowledge and experience with IT architecture, project management, change management, and quality assurance methodologies. Knowledge and experience in managing enterprise SaaS solutions and enterprise-level operations. Occasional travel and work outside scheduled hours. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Registration, Certifications, and Licenses: Ability to pass the state and national fingerprint-based background check to obtain the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with administration of law enforcement records management systems (LERMS). Experience with records retention schedules and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python). ITIL or other relevant certifications. Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Certified.
