POSITION/LOCATION:
  • This position will be located at our Headquarters in College Station, Texas.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma required.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of general office, clerical, and/or customer service experience is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • The role addresses routine issues and inquiries while directing more complex matters to higher-level staff.
  • Employees in this position possess basic to intermediate knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • The role requires proficiency with computer systems to support intermediate tasks, including report preparation and accounts payable invoice processing.
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Work is performed under direct supervision.
  • Provides administrative support to maintain the efficient operation of the office.
  • Performs a wide range of tasks, including answering phone calls, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and organizing files.
  • Assists with coordinating meetings and events, as well as managing correspondence.
  • Supports business development activities by delivering knowledgeable, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact through in-person interactions and/or telephone communication.
  • This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and consistent daily operations.
FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides excellent customer service on a consistent basis by greeting employees, customers, directors, vendors, job applicants, and other visitors, answering phones and customer inquiries.
  • Possesses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the clerical field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
  • Performs general office duties primarily consisting of routine repetitive tasks of organizing and maintaining electronic files. May facilitate communication with third party vendors.
  • Performs general tasks such as sorting, logging, and delivering mail to appropriate personnel and ordering and maintaining office supply inventory.
  • Routes incoming calls and takes accurate messages for employees and delivers them in a timely manner via callbacks or email.
  • Assists staff with special projects as assigned.
  • Self-motivated to assist and or lead with various duties.
  • Develops basic knowledge of cooperative structure.
  • Develops foundational knowledge of multiple systems and programs used in office administration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
