Mortgage Post-Closing Coordinator

Location: BCS/ Momentum Plaza

Job Summary:

The Mortgage Post Closing Specialist (MPC) is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of loans from loan funding through Investor Delivery and Loan Purchase. Responsibilities will include shipping loan files to AMB loan servicing and AMB Correspondent Lenders, following up on investor conditions and trailing documents, and insuring FHA loans through FHA Connection. The MPC will also assist with compliance review of new loans, appraisal orders, preparing files for QC, and various reporting duties related to shipping and loan sales.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ship closed loan files to Correspondent Investors according to Correspondent guidelines.
  • Ship portfolio loans and original files of sold loans to Loan Servicing for permanent storage.
  • Prepare various mortgage lending reports and monitor secondary market pipeline reports to ensure on-time delivery of loans held for sale. Follow up on items to clear investor suspensions and forward trailing documents.
  • Review mortgage loan originations for compliance with regulations such as RESPA, Truth in Lending, FACTA, NFIA, HMDA, etc.
  • Provide assistance as necessary with, processing, closing, and QC functions, such as appraisal ordering, and submitting files to QC vendor.
  • Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal.

Position Requirements & Key Qualifications:

  • Mortgage Loan Processing/Closing/Post-Closing experience - 1+ years.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Mortgage Lending Guidelines and AUS.
  • Basic background in regulatory compliance and real estate documentation.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.
