Job Details:

  • Pay: $16-19/hour (dependent on previous experience)
  • Schedule: MUST be available to work ANY shift between 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Possible shifts include: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM
  • Must be open to Saturday or Sunday shifts as needed
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Start Date: April 20th
  • Duration: Contract-to-hire, 520-hour contract
Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments; manage cancellations
  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (60-80 calls/day, 90% inbound, 10% outbound)
  • Assist patients with problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Utilize computer systems including PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Epic EMR
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional phone etiquette
  • Apply knowledge of government and commercial insurance plans
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare call center environment
  • Experience scheduling medical appointments
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong phone etiquette and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
Training:
  • No requested time off during the first 4 weeks
  • Camera must be on during training
  • Dress code: Business casual
Compliance:
  • Background check
  • Education verification - High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Employment verification - past 7 years
  • Drug screen
Security Deposit Policy:
  • Deposit Amount: $300 required for provided equipment
  • Payment: $30/week for 10 weeks, deducted from your paycheck
  • Reimbursement: Fully refundable (100%) upon either conversion to an internal employee or confirmation that the equipment has been returned after the assignment ends
Attendance / No Call Out Policy:
  • Strict attendance and no call-out policy
  • Employees must follow assigned schedules
  • Very low tolerance for unexcused absences or tardiness
  • Noncompliance may result in disciplinary action, up to termination
