Accountant

We are seeking a mid-level Accountant to support financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires a professional who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates initiative, and operates with a high level of integrity and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory standards.

### Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and maintain general ledger entries

* Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial discrepancies

* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

* Prepare financial reports and support leadership with analysis

* Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

* Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries

* Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting

* Review accounts payable and receivable processes for accuracy

* Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and controls

### Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

* 35+ years of accounting experience

* Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

* Experience with accounting software and financial systems

* Advanced Excel skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* High attention to detail and organizational skills

* Professional communication and ability to handle confidential information
